| Coming of Age in the Aquarian |
|
| Background | |
It's obvious that life has changed dramatically since the beginning of
the 20th century, mainly due to the following developments:
|
|
| Each of these developments drew from years
of work done previously behind the scenes. But they emerged into general
use after the beginning of the 20th century. One might say the time was
right. I think they indicate the beginning of a new age--the Aquarian Age. |

All of these developments have attributes of

| What is the "Aquarian Age" | |
|
An new age begins when the Spring Equinox precesses into a different astrological
sign. The order is backward from Pisces to Aries. Christ was born at the beginning
of the Piscean Age. At this time the age of Pisces is ending and the age of Aquarius is
beginning. Precession defined (from www.dictionary.com): Topic: AstronomyExcellent articles about the Aquarian Age can be found on the internet. Try the search terms "Aquarian Age precession". A good article can be found at www.paranormality.com |

| So..what's my point? | |
|
For 2000 years we've been doing things the Piscean way. In many cases the
old ways just don't work anymore. (You'll get no details from me--look around,
look inward.) It's up to us to decide how to proceed, if we want to do so in a conscious fashion. I've been studying astrology (an Aquarian attribute) and the occult for many years, so I know a little about this--or think I do. Judging from the surge in interest in meditation, Eastern belief systems, and New Age topics, I'm pretty sure gist of this age will be about finding the way that is right for each of us as individuals. In addition to individual freedom, consciousness will be a keyword, as well. Through my blog I'd like to contribute what I can. So far it's mostly a daily journal. But more is planned for when time is available. |

| This blog, specifically | |
|
It started out as a local blog at my website. I used
Movable Type to set up and present it. After coming under persistent spam attacks,
I decided to upgrade it to a new, hopefully more secure version. The new version
didn't set up well and I still had to deal with the spam. So I moved to a hosted blog at www.blog-city.com I'm still moving in there and haven't figured out all the features yet. But the mayoress of blog-city responds to my emails quickly and the charge for the premium service is reasonable. |

|
Note (added 11-2005): Have returned to blogging at
my second blog, so it's no longer just an archive. A complete revamp is in the works. |
|
| Note (added 1-2007): After a distastrous software upgrade at Blog-City, I decided to relocate again. So am now hosted at BlueHost. My new URL is http://aquarian-age.dolphinmoon-media.com. | |
