Of Magic Doors There Is This...

Journal Entry Date: 12 Feb 2004

Thought for the Day: "Who ranks as the Highest? One who is not afraid of breaking attachment, who has cast out anger and desire, and lifted the barrier which prevented any forward movement." --The Highest, verses 397 & 398 from David Crosweller's BUDDHIST WISDOM DAILY REFLECTIONS

Thank you, Lord, for my being included at work.

Brought to eye/mind today: morning meditation--
When centering chakras, each one added to (engulfed by) an advancing river of power. At reaching pituitary (middle of brain) saw images of 2 pillars as a doorway and variations, such as an arch containing 2 pillars. A plaque of mine came to mind. It shows silhouettes of trees like pillars in front of a misty field of green grass and bears the message "Of magic doors there is this/You do not see them even as you are passing through." (photographer John Pearson) During breathing--slow & steady--image of spine as a snake. Heard two small, distant voices:
"She doesn't seem to know." said one.
"I know," the other answered.

At closing, perceived chakras arranged as shown in attached gif file. The thickened part at bottom coincides with chakras 3 and 4 (solar plexus and heart); in my understanding of this, intent "pools at the bottom" or "precipitates out (by weight not chemical reaction)."

Journal:
>Overslept but caught up and got to work at a reasonable time.
>Tried to recongfigure Norton Antivirus email checker, but it kept resetting itself to original settings. Don't think it's broken, just working without the little animated icon.

the ability to prophesy through contemplating the way people roll reefers -
the shape, the licking pattern, the wrinkles and folds or absence thereof

Not time."
