Coming of Age in the Aquarian

Mankind is evolving in mind as well as in body. Indeed the body is a reflection of mind or consciousness. As we enter the 2000-year span of the Age of Aguarius, we find that the ground rules are subtly different from those of the preceeding age, Pisces. Many changes since the turn of the century in 1900 indicate greater emphasis on a scientific approach to life, choosing a way of life that is more suited to one's personal needs, and redefining roles, such as God-self, man-woman, parent-child, society-individual, and so on. To me life must be a conscious journey to have meaning. But mind must be balanced with heart. Here in this manifestation of the Aquarian age, the web-log, we will explore the unfolding of consciousness and other topics. I say "we," because your comments can only contribute to this venture, indeed they are needed. This weblog is dedicated to the greater good and all of us monkeys in this sometimes exotic stew. DISCLAIMER: I reserve the right to be silly sometimes, to sometimes completely miss the point, to be unfocused until I'm focused and to occasionally speak from atop a soapbox.

How can God be Lonely?

Thought for the Day: "What goes around, comes around" parallels "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". Both refer to cause and effect.

Thank you, Lord, for exercise.

Brought to eye/mind today: At Curves, one of the assistants likes to play Christian rock. One of the songs has a line "Our God is a Lonely God." I get angry every time I hear it. How can one human presume to know the mind of God? How can God be lonely? How self-centered to assume that because you feel lonely, God is Lonely.
