Sericin, Saracen

Journal Entry Date: 28 Jan 2004

Thought for the Day: Earth and all its trappings may be an illusion, but it's where we live, move, and have our being.

Thank you, Lord, for procedures and forms posted.

Brought to eye/mind today: The word sericin ("viscous gelatinous protein that forms on the surface of raw-silk fibers"--American HeritageŽ Dictionary of the English Language) vs. the word saracen ("A Muslim, especially of the time of the Crusades"--ibid.)

Journal:
>Helping D.R. with her computer again. Feeling put-upon, I told her this time it will cost.
>Learned Monday that organza is silk, thought it was cotton.
