Journal Entry Date: 24 Jan 2004
Thought for the Day: No one escapes criticism. The question is--is it useful?
Thank you, Lord, for a number of journal entries posted.
Brought to eye/mind today: Range of motion. At exercise today, watching a video, the speaker talked about "range of motion." Began thinking about limited range of motion. How many of us think we are limited because we're never tried to move beyond what we've done previously? And how many try to extend their range of motion?
Journal:
>Published Jan 7 through 11 journal entries; felt good afterward.
>Worked on HP Pavilion again; have it narrowed down to the power supply or cable from power supply to floppy (I/O cable replaced).
>Watched movie "Underworld." What is this fascination with a totally fabricated concept--vampirism? Does it draw up ancient memories of blood lines and imbibing an enemy's blood to add his strength to one's own? Where there blood rites in the ancient past? Or does the idea of vampirism refer to one human's emotional demands draining another? Except for the fact that it draws the focus of many people, vampires and the fabricated fables about them are a load of crap. The movie, however, was a nice piece of work. It appears that the Matrix has set the fashion for an entire generation of movies.
