Brought to eye/mind today: Woke thinking about what it is that we seek in love relationships. Often what looks and feels like love is simply biology. Sex at its best feels like communion. And sometimes one is lucky enough to be part of a relationship that incorporates a sense of communion, of life shared easily and intimately. I think we seek relationships to relieve feeling alone, and separate. But we're not alone and separate, just think we are because that's what it looks like. The rational mind is the biggest barrier to communion.
